How Antarctic ice affects Australian climate

You might be familiar with the butterfly effect — the saying goes that the insect's wingbeat could stir a storm on the other side of the globe. 

It might seem far-fetched, but our world is more interconnected than many of us might realise. 

One marine scientist has shown how salt from Antarctic ice is affecting weather patterns in parts of Australia.
