A grand day out at Government House

The Antarctic Science Foundation was invited to participate in Government House’s Open Day on 12 October by our patron, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd). The people of Canberra were out in force and it was great to chat with Antarctic enthusiasts and interested people about the science that the Foundation is raising funds to support.

The Foundation’s new Board Chair, Dr Katherine Woodthorpe and Executive Director, Chrissie Trousselot took the opportunity to chat with His Excellency about his interest in Antarctic krill and their critical place in the Antarctic ecosystem.
