Traversing the COVID gap: Antarctic Science PhD Scholar Support Grants 2021

The pandemic continues to have a fundamental impact on the University sector. The Antarctic Science Foundation has identified PhD scholars as particularly vulnerable to financial hardship and is again offering a limited number of grants of up to $5,000 to future Antarctic research leaders to assist them in completing their PhD.

Bob Hawke’s 30-year Antarctic legacy honoured with $1.7 m philanthropic science commitment

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Madrid Protocol on Monday, the Foundation has announced a $1.7-million commitment to fund the prestigious R.J.L. Hawke Fellowship in Antarctic Environmental Science over the next decade.
