Andri has been active in the fight to preserve the highlands of Iceland and raise awareness about our fast-changing climate. In 2019, millions of people shared his โLetter to the Futureโ eulogy, placed on a monument next to the Okjรถkull glacier, the first Icelandic glacier lost to climate change:
