More about Amy

Through scientific research, I examine the influence of snow microstructure on energy transfer and remote sensing applications in the Arctic and Antarctica. By conducting outreach, I aim to inspire future scientists and initiate conversations about our changing planet. Scientific illustrations give me a tool to represent and outline complex scientific concepts. Finally, my work on scientific sustainability increases community involvement, creates impact assessments, hosts workshops, and influences scientific policy with the intention of reducing the environmental impact of all scientific activities.
