Zhaohui Wang - Atmospheric modeller

Meet Zhaohui

Zhaohui is an atmospheric modeller at CSIRO and is engaged in research on the Australian Community Climate Earth System Simulator (ACCESS) climate model applications, with a particular focus on atmospheric components and their interactions with land-surface and chemistry.

Biography

Prior to his current role, he completed his PhD in 2022 at the University of Tasmania, supervised by Dr Alex Fraser, where he conducted research on the interactions between the atmosphere and Antarctic sea ice using numerical weather prediction models, atmospheric reanalyses, and remote sensing observations. His bachelor's degree in physical oceanography finished with first-class honours from the University of Tasmania/Oceans University of China joint program.
